Next week on 12 August, ATV-5 will rendezvous with the Station at about 410km altitude at 09:21 UTC (11:21 CEST) and conduct a fully automated docking to the aft port of the Russian Zvezda module several hours later at 13:29 UTC (15:29 CEST).
Docking will be monitored closely by ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst and and Cosmonaut Sasha Skvortsov, who have been conducting refresher training while on board the ISS. The crew can command an abort if they observe anything going wrong during the docking process.
And it looks like the crew are ready!
