Andreas, Sergei and Aidyn did their first ‘fit-check’ of the Soyuz spacecraft and, it fits – barely. Soyuz spacecraft are known for their tight-fit but the trio managed to get a selfie sitting in their seats. This was the first time they saw the vehicle that will take them into space and is understandably an emotional moment for many astronauts. The spacecraft will be placed onto the Soyuz rocket 26 August and the astronauts return for a second fit-check 28 August before the whole Soyuz is rolled to the launchpad.
