Today all nine astronauts on the International Space Station will gather to discuss their mission during a news that will be broadcast by live on NASA Television at 14:10 GMT.
ESA will allow some of its 10 minutes time to ask questions from the public via this blog.ESA will ask some questions on behalf of the followers of ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen’s iriss mission that were submit here on the blog. The questions in the comments have been chosen and will be read out directly to Danish ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen from the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany.
Andreas starts answering the questions below at around 30 minutes.
This is the first nine-person crew conference in almost two years. The astronauts represent five space agencies:
- NASA’s Scott Kelly, one-year crew member and Expedition 45 commander, and Kjell Lindgren
- Roscosmos cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, Expedition 44 commander, Mikhail Kornienko, one-year crew member, Oleg Kononenko and Sergei Volkov
- Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s Kimiya Yui
- European Space Agency’s Andreas Mogensen
- Kazakh Space Agency’s Aidyn Aimbetov
