Flight path for Carbonexp campaign
Yesterday, we did the detailed planning with the pilots and crew for the first flight today.
The weather forecast does not show any clouds, just calm winds.
So, we will take off around noon (local time) and fly the planned route until we will reach the northern part of Turkey.
There we had to change plans a little and cannot fly directly above the target points (mainly P4 and P3) of GOSAT because of current air traffic regulations.
At the moment air traffic is very busy in the region as a result of the current situation in Libya.
Nevertheless, we hope to gather good data today.
