This blog is operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) as an unofficial and in-depth source of information for the general public, media and anyone interested in the transit of Venus.
It is updated by editors from the ESA Space Science communications team with input from Venus Express mission scientists. We’ll be reporting live from Svalbard during the transit itself, and will do our best to provide the most up-to-date information as soon as possible!
The Transit of Venus blog is provided strictly on an unofficial, best-effort basis and ESA makes no warranty that the information, news, comments or opinions published in this blog are confirmed, accurate, official or in any way reflect the formal policies of the European Space Agency or our partners. For the latest confirmed information relating to any ESA activity, please access the main ESA Web portal (https://www.esa.int/).
