Here at ESOC, we can’t wait for Rosetta’s first signal an Monday, and we know we’re not alone. Here’s a list of independent events celebrating wake up with livestreams, hangouts and moderated discussions with experts. Maybe there’s one near you?


Blackrock Castle Observatory

The Blackrock Castle Observatory in Cork, together with the Parque de las Ciencias in Granada, is hosting a public livestream, also including Q&A with scientists working on Rosetta.

IWF Graz

The IWF in Graz hosts an event including a Rosetta exhibition and expert talks, followed by live streaming from ESOC in Darmstadt.

Educators Zone
Educatorszone are doing a Google Hangout with Dr. Pamela L. Gay and guest experts, starting at 15:30 UT (but this may take place at ~12:00 CET; we’ll update this later).
