ESA astronaut and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) ambassador André Kuipers and his Expedition 31 crewmate, NASA astronaut Don Pettit, will today take part in a video call to the WWF annual meeting taking place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

WWF representatives worldwide will hear what André and Don have to say about our planet seen from their vantage point on the International Space Station and what our Earth observation satellites can do to help us understand how fragile our planet is.

The Dutch branch of the WWF – Wereld Natuur Fonds – is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year.
