The Voca People, an international vocal theatre performance, have made a special recording of Elton John’s Rocket Man for ESA astronaut André Kuipers. Their clip marks the start of their tour of André’s home country, the Netherlands.

A version of Rocket Man sung by Kate Bush is one of the tracks included on André’s ‘Song a day’ list that he has taken in to space with him for his 193-day PromISSe mission. See ESA Portal article: “I’ll go where your music takes me”.
