ESA astronaut André Kuipers today took a break from his work schedule to conduct media interviews with two Dutch TV stations. Floating inside the European Columbus laboratory, André also answered questions sent in by viewers.
He explained how his work is very varied on board the International Space Station, with tasks in many of the different modules. He is settling into life on board the orbital outpost and described how the sunsets and sunrises are some of his favourite things to look at when he has some free time to look out one of the Station’s windows.
A replay is available via ESA’s Web Streaming Network, a translation to English is included in the audio:

Beste Esa/Nasa Crew,
Wonderbaarlijk mooi.
Vriendelijke Groet, Roeland
