From Akos Haasz, Proba-3 Project Manager at Redwire:

The Proba-3 team was excited to get their hands on the satellites and the supporting equipment in the check-out cleanroom!

The spacecraft containers were opened and an inspection confirmed that the satellites arrived in good order. Our integration team got to work immediately to assemble the batteries back into the satellites, finalizing the two – for now separate – spacecrafts mechanically.

In the meantime, the functional testing team has set up their testing equipment and the control room, from where they command the spacecrafts on the ground. After the mechanical integration was finished on the CSC, the testing team took over to verify that all units on board function as expected, then followed the OSC.

The team had their first glimpse of our PSLV launcher too! A small team working with the electrical interfaces tested the connections on the 41 m tall launcher that will allow them to monitor our spacecrafts on the launchpad.

The hard work and long days paid off, as all this has been completed in about half the time it was planned to take. We can also confirm that our spacecrafts are healthy after the shipment and are ready for the next steps in the launch campaign!
