The ATV Refuelling System leak check has just been successfully completed. This operation checks that the pipes within ATV and its connections to the ISS, for liquid fuel and oxidiser refuelling, have no leaks. We did this by filling the pipes with helium gas (stored in the tanks in ATV) and then checking that the gas did not escape. This successful check means that ATV is ready for refuelling tank pressurisation, which is the next step in the process of preparing the refuelling of the ISS by ATV.
