An excellent video produced by our friends at CNES showing the entire ATV-5 mission profile, including the fly-under on Friday and the manoeuvres that take place today to bring ATV back below and behind the ISS (it’s now in front). Also includes the shallow reentry planned for year end after undocking.

If I watch the ISS this Monday night in Belgium, at 22h34, which spacecraft will be ahead and by how many degrees / time difference ?
Hi Gamelle: ATV is already now behind the ISS. I don’t have the data at hand to compute exactly the lag time as seen from Europe, but you should be able to see ATV pass between 1 and 2 minutes after the ISS pass.
