A very nice view – Possibly the last one! – of ATV-3 (and the ISS) in orbit just a couple hours ago at 22:20 CEST, 2 October, which was 05:20 JST, 3 October, in Japan. Thanks to Taichi Iwamoto, Osaka, for a lovely final look at Edoardo Amaldi.

10/3 05:11 (JST) ATV-3 max elevation 60 deg / 10/3 05:20 (JST) ISS Max elevation 80 deg. I failed in rendezvousing observation of separated HTV-3, so I wanted to observe ATV-3. I’m happy because it succeeds! Bon voyage, Edoardo!
