ATV-3 loading on the way
Technicians at Europe’s spaceport in Kourou began the delicate task of loading dry cargo on board ATV-3 on 25 November 2011, part of preparing for its eventual journey to the ISS in March 2012. Cargo bags are installed in special lightweight racks inside the ATV. Edoardo Amaldi will loft 2450 kg of dry cargo to the Space Station.
