This photo was taken last night by ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli on board the ISS as he watched ATV Johannes Kepler soar into orbit. He said, “Congratulations to Arianespace and ESA on ATV’s launch. Expedition 26 is looking forward to welcoming ATV on the ISS!”

Wauw, this must be one of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. I remember having the same feeling when MRO photographed the descent of Phoenix at Mars.
