I wish all the best to the new Director General Johann-Dietrich Woerner! I think that he is the best successor to Jean-Jacques Dordain.

starting all over, even after a long and distinguished career must feel like growing new wings or getting a jet pack to stay with the genre.

als ich 1994 als BI Student an der TH Darmsadt angefangen habe, konnten Sie mich schnell für Massivbau, Glasbau und “Bubble-Decken” begeistern.
Danke dafür.
Es ist schon unglaublich, wie gut man Bauingenieure einsetzten kann ;-).
Vom DLR zur esa habe ich es (noch) nicht geschafft, aber man weiss ja nie.
Jetzt bin ich erstmal für Airbus in Mexiko/Queretaro und denke jedes Mal, wenn Ihr Name in Nachrichten erscheint, mit einem Lachen an ihre Vorlesungen.

Congratulations! I’ve never addressed anyone of your stature or position but after negotiating the website and learning the chronology of the construction of the station…truly amazing…I wanted to contact a web geek for a correction about “port” and “starboard” the the 2006 A12. I only found astronauts contacts and I figured I shouldn’t bother them so why not the Director General! 🙂 Is it a typo? I figure if I’m confused others may be as well… congratulations again!
