Thomas and Matthias talk training in Astro Chat series

ESA astronauts Thomas Pesquet and Matthias Maurer are training for upcoming missions to the International Space Station. Follow their journey in our Astro Chat series.

Thomas and Matthias are working hard to prepare for their next missions to the International Space Station. Though Thomas spent six months on Station for his Proxima mission in 2017, Matthias is a first time flyer.

While training at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, USA earlier this year, the pair took some time to compare notes and discuss the differences between training for a first mission versus training for a second. Thankfully they also recorded their chat.
