ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano took some time out shortly after returning from 201 days on board the International Space Station to reflect on a successful mission in the latest episode of ESA podcast ESA Explores.

In this episode he talks about the changes on Station since his Volare mission in 2013, the complex spacewalk series in which he worked with NASA astronaut Drew Morgan to maintain the cosmic ray detecting Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer AMS-02 and what it’s like to be separated from his crew mates now that he’s back on Earth. He also answers a few questions from Twitter followers including how astronauts deal with colds and flu in space, whether he’ll continue to perform as a DJ and whether astronauts dream of space.

You can listen to this, and all other episodes in the ESA Explores Beyond series, via all the major podcast platforms. This includes Podbean, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify and SoundCloud.

Thank you for tuning into Luca’s mission. We look forward to bringing you more great space-related content in the next season of ESA Explores.
