On 24 March 2015, Jocelyne Landeau-Constantin, Head of the Communication Office at ESA’s Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany, received the Outstanding Achievement Award of the organisation Women in Aerospace (WIA) Europe.
Jocelyne has worked for ESA since more than 25 years with continuing enthusiasm, engagement and spirit, providing outstanding team leadership and inspiration. She plays an important role with regard to the overall tasks and goals of ESA Communications. Of French citizenship, Jocelyne is married and has two sons.
Her motto remains timeless and thus unchanged:
“Communication – be it through translation or explaining what a company or a scientific institution is doing – has been driving my career. The ultimate goal is a belief in the need for exchanging opinions, opening frontiers and breaking barriers.”
