Sampling phytoplankton using a 20-micron net to 50 metres to peak everyone’s curiosity about an unseen yet unimaginable world. Voyager’s on board were so excited about what was under the microscope. I have never had so many people so engrossed by phytoplankton. The curiosity microscope enlightened everyone to this unseen world sparking questions and conversations that made the Forre banjer of the Statsraad Lehmkuhl an amazing place for plankton science.

Understanding how to interpret the measurements and samples we have started to collect during the ESA Advanced Ocean Training Course back to the signals we receive in space from ESA satellites is what the training course is all about!
