This blog is operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) as an informal platform offering additional insights for anyone interested in the activities aimed at protecting space assets.
In line with the ESA Council Resolution “Accelerating the Use of Space in Europe”, also known as the Matosinhos Manifesto, these activities reflect a new, user-driven approach grounded in collaboration and community engagement. In the area of space asset protection, they focus on two main pillars: progressing towards a Zero Debris future, and towards operational space weather services in Europe.
The blog is maintained by members of the Protect team, who are committed to sharing timely and relevant updates.
