On Monday 10 April Expedition 50 commander, NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough returned to Earth with Roscosmos astronauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Andrei Borisenko in their Soyuz spacecraft.
The day before Shane handed over command of the International Space Station to NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson.

The departing trio left the Station to Thomas Pesquet and Oleg Novitsky who will spend 10 days together before NASA’s Jack Fischer and Roscosmos commander Fyodor Yurchikhin are launched into space on 20 April.

Fyodor and Jack will launch from Baikonur to reunite with Thomas, Peggy and Oleg. Watch their launch live from 8:15 CEST, with liftoff scheduled at 09:13 CEST below:
