This picture just came in - the #SocialSpace tent just a few minutes ago. It's starting to take shape.
The clock is ticking. With just three days left for the big day, staff members at the German Aerospace Center, DLR, in Cologne are working intensely to have everything set up.
Excitement is building up as the DLR/ESA #SocialSpace tent is being lifted and the exciting programme fine-tuned.
You won’t know what we have in store for you until Sunday, but we want to give you a sneak peek of how things are looking in Cologne.
Look familiar? Yes, it’s our soon-to-be very own #SocialSpace tent. It shouldn't be long now.
That’s all for now. See you all soon…
When asked about how sick astronauts feel upon their return to Earth, and how that would work on Mars, he says "When you land on Mars there’s nobody there to carry you out of the capsule... well at least that’s what we think!"
He also tells us: "Space will be used for more then we think in the future..." and that his favourite part of the ISS is the Cupola because "From the Cupola I could see the entire Europe by turning my head."
Thank you for your visit!
Later we will have a chance to go to the ESA/DLR Space Pavilion, but you can get some insight into what you will see in our latest webcast.Enjoy!
