Great news over at Emily Lakdawalla’s blog at the Planetary Society: according to her report, the LADEE mission entered Moon orbit on 6 Oct, around mid-day CEST.

ESA, of course, will support an optical communication test between Earth and LADEE later on this year.

After a one-month journey from Earth to the Moon, NASA’s Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) safely entered orbit at 10:57 UTC today, October 6.
