Soyuz TMA-03M crew
After two years of intensive training, ESA astronaut André Kuipers is now counting down the final days towards his launch with the Soyuz TMA-03M spacecraft from Kazakhstan’s Steppe on 21 December.
For André and his fellow Soyuz crewmembers, NASA astronaut Don Pettit and Russian Oleg Kononenko, the launch is only the start of the adventure. Two days later they arrive at the International Space Station (ISS), a place they will call home for nearly five months.
In this blog we will follow André’s activities throughout his PromISSe mission. We’ll follow him during the lead-up to the launch, his stay on board the ISS as a member of the Expedition 30 and 31 crews and his return to Earth in May 2012. We will hear from ESA’s mission controllers, scientists and managers who are supporting the PromISSe mission from Earth.

All crew photographs in Sokol spacesuit were taken on August 15? Can you post the original crew shot with ISS-30 patch on spacesuit in hi-res, please!
