As Luca makes himself at home onboard the orbital outpost flying 400 km above us, take a moment to reflect on a successful launch, docking and hatch opening in this series of replay and highlights videos.

Luca was launched to the International Space Station at 18:28 CEST on Saturday 20 July 2019 alongside NASA astronaut Andrew Morgan and Russian Soyuz commander Alexander Skvortsov in the Russian Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft. The trio docked to the Station’s Zvezda service module at 00:48 CEST on Sunday morning and were welcomed on board by fellow Expedition 60 crew members at 03:04 CEST.

This is Luca’s second mission to the Space Station and will see him live and work in orbit for the next six months. Stay tuned to this blog for regular updates on Luca and the Beyond mission.
