The last full day on the International Space Station for ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen, Thursday, will be spent the Mares experiment and storing it out of the way to clear space in the Columbus laboratory.

Andreas will record some video for the educational purposes that is still left over from the first flight day. He will finish his last Demes taster, completing this snacking experiment with muesli bars.

The MELISSA organisms that have patiently been waiting in the Columbus laboratory will be transferred into the Soyuz TMA-16M spacecraft that will bring Andreas, Aidyn Aimbetov and Gennady Padalka back home. The organisms could be used for a space-recycling system in the future. In the same operation Andreas will take the radiation monitor EuCPAD and put it into the Soyuz for return to Earth.
