The Sentinel-1 Payload Data Ground Segment (PDGS) team had a pre-launch meeting at ESA’s centre for Earth observation (ESRIN) on 15 April. During the briefing, each team member confirmed the status of their specific system or area of responsibility, and all confirmed readiness for launch and ready to support the Sentinel-1B commissioning activities.

The overall status of the mission as well as the overview of the Sentinel-1 constellation milestones were reported by Pierre Potin, Sentinel-1 Mission Manager.

After the meeting the team gather for the traditional photo.

Betlem Rosich, ESA Sentinel-1 PDGS Operations Manager, stated “PDGS is GO for launch!”
