Despite the heavy rains of the previous day, the Sentinel-1B satellite was moved to the S3B facility today, in preparation for the next steps.

It took the convoy about half an hour to move from the S5 facility and arrive safely in S3B.

The team then carefully offloaded the spacecraft, to place it into the fuelling hall. Now it will undergo fuelling and mating with the Fregat (Soyuz Upper Stage).

Once these activities are completed, the spacecraft will then be encapsulated (fairing closing) ready for the next step, which is the integration with the Soyuz launcher.

This week the team was joined by the arrival of Dirk Geudtner and Ferran Valencia Bel.
