Our friends over at JAXA have published a very cool video highlighting Japan's HTV2 cargo vehicle Kounotori: the technology, the operations and the mission profile. Like ATV, HTV2 is an unmanned transfer vehicle that carries water, food, clothes and equipment to the International Space Station. Kounotori is scheduled for launch on 20 January from the Tanegashima Space Center.
In the video, our own ATV gets a brief mention around the 37-second mark. Enjoy! And best wishes for a successful launch...!
