First joint European Space Tweetup in Cologne

The DLR German Aerospace Center and the European Space Agency are inviting 60 Twitter followers to the first joint European Space Tweetup as part of German Aerospace Day on 18 September in Cologne, Germany.

A Tweetup is an informal, educational gathering of people who use the Twitter social messaging medium. The first joint Space Tweetup of DLR and ESA will be an opportunity to learn more about the two agencies and their activities. German Aerospace Day takes place every two years at the Cologne/Porz establishment shared by DLR, ESA’s European Astronaut Centre (EAC) and partners Cologne Bonn Airport and the German Air Force.

The Tweetup programme includes guided visits to EAC - location of the only full-scale ATV mock-up, which is used by all ISS astronauts who undergo ATV training.
